Chris Hagedorn is a Minneapolis-based tenor saxophone player. He has spent years studying the music of John Coltrane, Charles Lloyd, Jerry Bergonzi, Joe Henderson, Wayne Shorter, Warne Marsh and many others. His hope is that tiny bits of their music emerge occasionally from his horn, along with bits of William Faulkner, Marc Chagall, Charles Ives, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Frank Gehry.
Sarah Streitz is a Minneapolis-based musician. Quintessentially Americana in her eclectic approach to songwriting, her blend of classic country, rock and blues styles is both unique and familiar. Her songs dig deep and pull hard. Full of poetic, mood-infused lyrics and driving rhythms, Sarah’’s music will leave you wondering and wanting more.
She is currently working on her first CD in NE Minneapolis’ at The Bathtub Shrine Recording Studios with local musicians Greg Schutte, Nick Salisbury, Brad McLemore and others.
