Daniel Volovets is a 21-year-old guitarist, composer, arranger, and instructor with over 14 years of professional experience, specializing in classical, flamenco, Brazilian, and jazz music. He performs regularly throughout the Twin Cities at a variety of venues with his 17-year-old multi-instrumentalist brother Adrian (violin, flute, tenor/soprano saxophone, piano), including events organized by the Minnesota Guitar Society, Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theatre, and The Cedar Cultural Center, just to name a few. Daniel is majoring in neuroscience at the University of St. Thomas and aspires to balance careers in medicine and music, while Adrian is graduating from high school next year and intends to pursue a career in clinical psychology. They have recorded four CDs to date, including the latest "Rainy Highway". This performance is part of several "Rainy Highway" CD release events.
