Hailing from Minneapolis, the city that birthed legends like Paul Westerberg, Bob Mould and His Royal Purpleness, Adrianne Lenker is an authentic, passionate singer, songwriter, and performer. Shortly after graduating Berklee, Lenker moved to New York City in 2012 and released her newest, and what she considers to be her true debut album, Hours Were the Birds. Her vocal influences have ranged from Billie Holiday to Bjork, and her sound has been described by blogs as "a mix of Laura Marling, Coco Rosie and Joni Mitchell." (Madmackerel.org) She won the 2013 Kerville Folk Festival's New Folk Competition, and was a finalist in the 2005 International Songwriting Competition. She has opened up for Susan Tedeschi at Joe's Pub in NYC, as well as Ryan Montbleau at Club Passim in Cambridge, MA. She is a poignant and versatile songwriter, and a exceptional guitarist. Texas bred, Brookyln based musician Buck Meek has been writing love songs and outlaw ballads since the end of the world in 2012. It's been said that his songs sound like the hypothetical child of George Jones and Joan Vollmer. Buck is a Berklee College of Music graduate and has been working as a guitarist since age 15, performing and touring across the United States and Europe as a bandleader for Shine and Mobtet, and as a sideman for various bands and artists, such as Moishe Circus, Adrianne Lenker, The Pleasant Revolution, Django Porter, Amanda Jones, and Dylan Meek.
