Courtney Yasmineh returns from her new apartment in New York City for a flurry of Twin Cities appearances, including a cozy night at the 318, one of her favorite haunts over ten years and five albums.  Her new album Red Letter Day is getting indie airplay in the US and abroad and she says she and her fans are enjoying the "slightly punk aesthetic" of her new material. Tonight she plays a stripped down version that let's her emotive vocals and poignant lyrics shine through.
