The Abiders: Designated Rider soft release party
Four years and many gigs ago, The Abiders put their wheels in motion and made a name for themselves as having "a sound" that excites and engages listeners. Their first album, Designated Rider, is "Dedicated to all the RIDERS [their fans] who support the crusade to keep live music ALIVE!". Lead singer / songwriter, Julie Weisenhorn, likens the making of Designated Rider to "a long road trip with three jokesters (Doug, Karlos and Ricky Dean) pit-stops at seedy roadside diners and  everything from Hank to Hendrix (thanks Neil)".
