For the last 18 years, Ali Gray has been a singer in the Minneapolis music scene, singing along side some of the Minnesota greats, such as Martin Zellar and Tina Schlieske. in 2005 she released her first record, Let You In, which received accolades and attention from local music critics. In 2009, Gray released her sophomore project, Johnson Street. The envelope she dared to push on Johnson Street was one of real substance and, indeed, her sophomore release firmly established Gray as a songwriter who dared to be at once brave yet vulnerable, cunning yet achingly sincere. Currently writing her third project, Gray has brought honest, vulnerable lyrics and music together with her refined and gentle, yet powerful, vocals for almost 20 years.
