Sarah Streitz is a Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter.   Influenced by musicians like Steve Earle and Lucinda Williams, her lyrics are thoughtful and imaginative, rhythmic and gritty.   Sarah’s music digs deep, pulls hard and leaves you singing.  Locally, she has performed with her band at The Aster Café, The 318, Day Block Brewing, The Driftwood Char Bar, Day Block Brewing, Honey and Lee’s Liquor Lounge. 
 Her debut CD Take One was recorded at Bathtub Shrine Recording Studio in NE Minneapolis with Nick Salisbury, Brad McLemore, Greg Schutte, Joe Savage and others.  TAKE ONE is a collection of songs that draws on the temptations of daily life, struggles of modern day immigrants, the fate of a young run away, visions of revolutionary Mexico, longings for an ancestral past, and lost love.    Plans for a follow-up recording are already in the works.

Chris Hagedorn is a Minneapolis-based tenor saxophone player.  He has spent years studying the music of John Coltrane, Charles Lloyd, Jerry Bergonzi, Joe Henderson, Wayne Shorter, Warne Marsh and many others.  His hope is that tiny bits of their music emerge occasionally from his horn, along with bits of William Faulkner, Marc Chagall, Charles Ives, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Frank Gehry.
