Molly Maher & Brianna Kocka

Molly Maher is the sort of musician you see once and never forget. An incomparable singer and songwriter with compelling depth and soul and cutting lyrics draws from the deep roots of Americana music. She writes songs that ring true. Her singing is a fine balance of deep and soulful, somewhere between Lucinda Williams and Bonnie Raitt. Twangy and lament-filled spirit, guitar driven country-folk-jam with a blues swagger.

Brianna Kocka is a singer-songwriter from Minneapolis, MN. She has shared the stage with Marc Cohn, The Cult, and has had her music featured on General Hospital and 20/20. Evoking the instrumentation and mournful harmonies of Americana pioneers Gillian Welch and Alison Krauss, as well as the classic Country vibes of Nashville in an earlier time, her songs are both autobiographical and fantasy, documents of facing phantoms, and fleeing them. In early 2019 she released her new single, "Kindness," a straight ahead Americana-Country song reminiscent of the sounds of Jason Isbell mixed with Kacey Musgraves. Her previous album of traditional folk songs, "Dreamlife," was released in 2018 on Suntanman Records. Brianna spends most of her time touring, but when home in Minneapolis she can be found in the studio recording new songs, as well as playing electric guitar in the indie rock band Zoo Animal.
